• With Line Tool or From Insert menu
   
  1. Select the Line tool from the Draw toolbar. or From the insert menu, select Line .
      
  2. Move the cursor to the area of the document you would like the Line to begin.
      
  3. Left-click and hold the button down to begin drawing, then drag the cursor to the position you would like the line to end and release the button to draw the Line .

The Line control tool draws horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines on a form template.

Holding down the SHIFT key while dragging the Resizing Grapples with the mouse limits movement to the horizontal and vertical direction.
