The image control tool adds graphics to a form template.

When an control is first created, a rectangular box with gray fill color appears and a File Open Dialog is displayed. Select an appropriate metafile from this dialog to load the control with an image. Once the image has been loaded, you can resize the control to fit the desired area.

Tips:

You can directly paste a metafile from the clipboard onto a page. This action will automatically create a new image control and load it with the pasted image.

The image control is extremely useful for converting existing electronic forms created in other products to SmartVizor templates. For more information on this subject see the SmartVizor Imager topic.

Remarks:

Unlike raster images displayed in image controls, metafiles are not stored as resources.

Once a metafile is loaded into a image control it cannot be changed. If you need to change the image, delete the existing control, add a new control and select the desired image file.
